Not to excuse his absolutely abhorrent behavior, but really old allegations of arguable “consensual” sex (with a minor) is just not comparable to sticking your finger in the eye of the CCP. As you can see here, plenty of performers with less star power than Cena are banned from entering China for even mild criticism. He bootlicked.

He’s on the right side politically, definitely. Big believer in human rights, and has spoken up publicly in favor of abortion and trans rights.
I hear that he’s a nightmare in his personal life due to being a big huge ball of trust issues, but he definitely ain’t no fascist.
Punk has some issues for sure but he’s not a bad person
