The Baltics are just perfectly content to let Ukrainians die if it kills some Russians as well. So when putin said in his speech that he wants to take back ex-soviet states, he wasnt talking seriously? And when he sayed he will drop nukes if nato troops enter Ukraine, he was joking? And why use Ukraine as human shields if we could give them more weapons so they wouldnt die?
But if he can’t be trusted and he’s coming for the Baltics, then you should be enlisting and pressuring the Baltic states to deploy.

The entire war has been an escalating game of nuclear chicken for NATO anyway. If Europe is under imminent Russian threat, then you can’t be deterred by the threat of nukes. Otherwise you should just let Russia march through to Paris.
