Cubans are continuing to travel to Russia to join its war on Ukraine despite attempts by the government in Havana to clamp down on recruitment, according to a person familiar with the matter.
Part of the problem is they’re being lied to on what exactly their job is. This has been reported on previously. The job description was never a soldier. It’s blatant human trafficking and slave soldiering.
Look, ruskies have been hiring in Cuba, India, Nepal and elsewhere for well over a year now. If they don’t know what’s going on, it’s only because of ignorance.
You act like poor people in Cuba and India have the same access to global information as you and I do. I don’t think that’s the case. Poverty and desperation is on another level in these areas.
