I’d just like to sort by Newest when going back to the Homepage or when opening the site… is there a script for this…? I am using kbin enhancement script, Kbin Usability Pack, and Kbin Subscriptions panel currently.

@dbtonez it’s already possible in kbin-- just go to settings and change the drop-down for what you’d like as your homepage.

thats for the default landing page: All, Subscriptions, Favorites, and Moderated. I’m looking to extend this functionality to be able to browse by newest as opposed to hot for this setting. its only a click away but, i dont know i guess i’m lazy.

This is an option on Lemmy, so you can always browse your magazines from a Lemmy instance 😉

But honestly, it’s only one tap at the top of the screen. That might be a good first script project–you can write your own!

funny you mention that, writing the script actually crossed my mind!

You should do it! It’s one tap! You can do that, and you’ll learn some cool stuff that you can use later. It’s just a puzzle to solve, and you know there’s a solution. If you get stuck there are tons of resources out there!
