@aaronjmate

Bernie praises the “honor and dignity” of the chief sponsor of Israel’s Gaza mass murder campaign.

His stated reason? Biden did a one-day campaign photo op on a picket line.

@BernieSanders

Joe Biden has served our country with honor and dignity.

As the first president to ever walk on a picket line with striking workers, he has been the most pro-working class president in modern American history.

Thank you, Mr. President, for all you’ve done.

    Yes, I think Bernie is jaded, maybe a little to do with age, a lot to do with just being amicable old Bernie. I’m not happy with a lot of his positions, an very happy with a lot, and basically see him as a complex, nuanced, but decent man who didn’t grow wealthy or abuse his authority to get filthy rich, at his constituents’ (or the rest of our’s) expense. A lot of Dems could take lessons on integrity from Bernie and I fervently hope I’m not later disappointed and regret this comment. I’d take one Sanders over a thousand Pelosis.

      Many that are left of Bernie Sanders have already seen what has happened to him; he sold out to the Democrats in 2016, 2020, and again in 2024.

      The people who learned this lesson have moved on from the duopoly, but some might still need more evidence.

      I agree with you that Bernie Sanders is much better than Nancy “Stock Trader” Pelosi.

        I was mad at Bernie for a long time, for rolling over the first time, and livid, the second time. But as I’ve aged, I can see where sometimes the personal amounts of energy just wane. And I do think he’s been in the politics game too long, and I think it comes from not wanting to entirely abandon his constituents, mostly, with a good amount of stubbornness and a bit of “fu” to the establishment, in general. But time nor tide wait for no (hu)man. I wish him the best, and wish his constituents would start putting energy into his replacement, before it’s too late, and I do so wish they’ll choose someone left of Sanders.
