Hearsay is ‘i heard he said that from someone else.’ from a witness not ‘i personally heard him say that’

Witnesses are allowed to say what they saw and heard. this is…like…one of the most basic things dude. WITNESS.

Did you think witnesses are only allowed to talk about what they SAW? That audio was banned?

They’re allowed to say whatever they want. It doesn’t mean it happens and it isn’t proof. I can’t stand the dude anymore than anyone else- but I don’t buy into hearsay.

There’s enough shit about him that’s provenly true. We don’t need to muddy the waters with “he said, she said” bullshit.

I thought I explained what hearsay is to you as simply as I could.

So… I can say whatever I want about you, as long as I do it in a courtroom? No poof is needed- just. …

              I said so.

Yes dude. That’s what a witness is. Its then up to the jury to decide.

And again, I generally don’t believe a thing unless it’s proven. Just like how it works in court.

                  Which was my original point.

What do you believe a witness is? What do you think they do?

            it isn’t proof

            Witness testimony is literally proof.

How do you think any witness testimony was handled before the advent of cameras and tape recorders?
