Talked to a couple, year or two ago, who were really into it and they were like “even the so and so NBA star has invested in it” i was half listening as it all sounded like garbage, but I think the guy said it was LeBron? Not 100% sure.
So definitely sounds like a marketing ploy to milk this garbage.
