I highly recommend checking out geopolitics and independent journalists that report on such topics in detail and at length.

As you can tell, my views are more from an anti-imperialist perspective, as well as sharing information from that perspective.

You have already set your mind to accept certain views on this topic, so there is no need to act like you would like to hear a different perspective.

Not to be taken as a negative, but you remind me of how Piers Morgan likes to frame his questions to guests on his show; you should check him out.

He interviews some great people; I have shared some of his videos on Lemmy and as well of people breaking down his way of talking and framing such questions.

If someone asks if the light in the room is on or off, do you go on a tangent too?

It’s not why or if it’s somehow justified, it happened or it didn’t happen. No one asked what led to it, or why doing it is okay or not.

              Thanks for chiming in!

If the person asking the question already expects a certain answer, then yes, I would go on a tangent so as to go into a discussion where one of us can learn something from it instead of continuing the circle jerk.

Why can’t you answer the question instead of going off on a tangent?

Seems like it could be answered with a simple yes or no.

It seems like a circle jerk to me; I would rather do something else.
