The group, which also included former Colombian vice president Marta Lucia Ramirez, got off to allow the plane, with many Venezuelan voters on board, to take off.

Well, you do know the reliability because I just told you it’s the paper of record in Colombia, and that’s easy enough to verify with a quick web search. Colombia has a leftist government, and the people generally express a strong kinship with Venezuela.
