It’s really exciting to see Nwaneri’s development. He looks really assured out there playing against seniour players. I’m getting Fabregas vibes from him (at least when it comes to his rapid ascent into the first team).

I’m reading chatter about how his development might be stymied if we bring in a striker because Havertz will inevitably drop back into the #8 slot (with Rice dropping back into the holding midfield spot). But Kai looked iffy there last season, so I think that #8 spot is Ethan’s if he really wants it.
