There have been a few comics lately that showed that we’ve come a long way in the last 100 years (almost put 1000, the comics ain’t that old) with outdated things like talking shit about the way someone is dressed or throwing a dog out the window. I wouldn’t call it hate, but a few people vocally didn’t like what he was doing.
I think the whole thing is fascinating and I find myself agreeing with him more often than not. No, I’m not going to insult the way someone is dressed, and if there’s a poorly trained animal acting a fucking fool I’m going to throw the owner out of the train car instead of the dog, but on the whole I think he’s more right than wrong. He just needs to stop most of the violence.
I do think it’s nice that he’s never abusive to women, though. They were using spousal abuse as a comedy device half a century later on television.
