This is her 4th child. Of course a child would rather play with a paper cup - especially when she can make up anything she wants with the paper cup instead of engaging in the play her mother chooses for her. Look at those toys - they scream 1950s housewife who’s waiting for her husband to come home so she can put his dinner on the table

I was gonna post about the toys too! Shouldn’t that be her hint to maybe oh idk stop buying more toys when L clearly doesn’t care??? Just more clear Sarah buys these old toys to fulfil her own inner needs and not her child’s.

Ya those are totally Sarah’s toys. I have noticed before the lack of choices of toys. It’s all the same stuff from Sarah’s childhood. I saved all my Barbie’s and strawberry shortcake and cabbage patch dolls for my future daughter. I spent countless hours playing pretend with Barbie. Those are precious memories for me. Well…When I finally had a daughter she didn’t care one bit about any of it. So I started getting her stuff she wanted. What a concept.

Exactly! She doesn’t care what L likes, Sarah only cares about buying more things she likes and wants herself. L seems thrilled playing with things when she gets dragged on their weekly trip to simply wonderful toys, but I bet Sarah never buys her those things because they don’t fit into Sarah’s theme and they aren’t what Sarah LIKES. Sarah doesn’t even care about L likes.
