The bright pure white text over the pitch black background theme here burns the text into my eyes where I can literally still see it hovering in front of me when I blink and look away. I’m not exaggerating that I honestly can’t visit here unless things are a bit grayer or some other softer colors are used.

Thanks, old Lemmy’s text to background contrast is a bit better and works for me as I prefer to browse in desktop mode on all my devices and it’s easy to just update the bookmark.
