Hi clerkships are about to start and I’m trying to decide how much money to spend on prep material and which is best.
I’ve read good things about B&B and mixed for OME (esp since going pay). I’ve seen that AMBOSS has been good but might not be worth the price for ultimately more questions that I might not have time to get to.
All of this is in addition to UW and anki ofc.
What do y’all thinl?
AMBOSS’s article database is so helpful, and their practice questions (and answer explanations) are super valuable. If you keep an eye out for sales or contact them about getting a group discount for you and your classmates, it really is a good deal. I just finished first year and managed to wrangle a really good deal on the 5-year subscription that gets you through PGY-1, but if you’re already going into 3rd year, a 2 or 3 year plan might end up being a better deal for you.
