Frostpunk is the first society survival game. As the ruler of the last city on Earth, it is your duty to manage both its citizens and infrastructure. What decisions will you make to ensure your society's survival? What will you do when pushed to breaking point? Who will you become in the process?
The in-game text is too small on lower resolutions (what a strange thing to type in 2024), to the point it’s barely playable on steamdeck. I had to switch to a fullhd monitor.
It’s pretty challanging game, but after beating the Endzone: worlds apart, the craving for strugle and failure just kept coming back, and the Frostpunk seemd like an ideal outlet. It did not disapoint in that regard either. The amount of sucking on my part is substantial.
