You keep trying to paint “participate in the war effort” as black and white, which you admit. Simply inspiring people to join the military by painting a picture of the war front is participation in the war effort, you can’t ignore that. They have more soldiers because of the actions of the press. And since it is black and white, by your logic they lose protection by doing that. Well if thats the case then this was a clean kill.
