Well, it’s a small sample size, but the two best fathers I know are both black men. You can tell him that, but I doubt it’ll change his mind. Of course there are going to be a bunch of bad fathers in the inner cities, their lives are rife with struggles, and they have very few role models. That’s true for any race.
