Any good places to follow Ukraine conflict on Lemmy? Trying again to switch off Reddit…

Noncredibledefense has updates, but may not qualify as a “good place.” Extremely meme focused.

But the info is so fresh! Newcomers beware… it’s hard to tell what’s info vs a random meme.

I love noncredibledefense and get a lot of my news from there. But unfortunately it’s not as active as on Reddit, but I REFUSE to go back there. We need to do something to recruit more people.

I appreciate that! Trying to find one that’s already established. Especially if my attempt to leave Reddit fails again.

Same here. I see there are lots of subs that I would like to start, but I don’t want to be responsible for moderating, myself.

It would be so cool to get one to develop that’s even close to the size as the one on reddit. Ever since I got off Reddit, I’ve missed those subs a lot. But I REFUSE to go back.

Not Lemmy but there’s frequent updates at ISW, (Institute for the Study of War). Just google ISW Ukraine to get their report page.
