    Yes, both parties are not the same, but we should still be able to criticize (dare I say laugh at?) both sides of the aisle. And even though both parties have different aims, the two-party system itself is one of many things that they agree on.

    Americans get so swept up into voting red or blue that we’ve given up on any hope of a better system. And so any criticism of a party feels like an attack on a “team”.

      I criticize the Dems all the time, they’re awful and I hate them. However, at the moment the message we should be sending is to vote for them, because not voting for them causes a lot of extremely severe problems.

      Maybe things are the way they are because all The people who seem to think they are part of some grassroots movement to change things-

      think that doing so only involves complaining online about the status quo, and not actually doing anything useful.

      And if you disagree, I’ve got 40 million people from 2020 to prove that I’m right.
