minus-square@glimselink11•29 days agoMy dad is trying his hand at sun dried tomatoes this year and these don’t seem to be an issue. I thought his yard would be covered in flies but nope

I dry them in a food dehydrator or in the oven. There’s no way I could leave them out, exposed like this in my part of the world.
Perhaps it’s the lack of water as it dries.
