She’s taking the Obama position which, it’s the politically savvy one, if they can get all the measures of the ACA through. The ACA is what Canada did before transitioning to single payer. That had anyways been the goal of the ACA. The issue is a lot of Americans are resistant to single payer. They think having only 1 choice is like communism or something. Which is why the ACA had always been the first step. Obama had said as much, publicly.
