Believe I also turned off all “promo” emails and communications of any sort in the settings while i did have linkedin… thinking about just straight up deleting it now instead of leaving the profile deactivated.

    I hate that platform. My account got blocked because I haven’t used it in a long time but was still receiving emails. I decided to delete it but I had to submit my ID. I wasn’t very happy about it but apparently they delete the data right after verifying your identity. Anyway, I submitted 2 requests and waited over 3 weeks and no one bothered to look at my case. I literally had to go through the privacy policy to find a contact for a data protection officer to write an email to. You can’t contact support or even unsubscribe from the emails without logging in first. Just terrible.
