    It was exciting, in the same way that Fight Club was exciting. But it rested heavily on the idea that one guy doing super-villain style terrorism against an Evil Media Guy was all it took to bring about sweeping social change.

    The name really says it all. This isn’t V for Victory. Its a story about the triumph of nihilism.

      It’s about American neoliberalism vs neoconservatism instead of the comic’s British anarchism vs fascism.

      But that’s just Alan Moore’s take.

      i dunno… i didn’t take it as such a literal parable for what we should do to enact change…
      more of a metaphorical, as well as cautionary tale….
