Definitely consider pentamelding your accessories though! 7.1 will likely only give us LHS gear so the accessories should be good for a couple of patches.
Failing that, just stock up on materia instead 😊
Good advice, I’m sitting on a bunch of old materia and should be able to do the “mid tier” melds from Teamcraft without spending much.
Something I realised too late to do anything about it was that I should have been stocking up on Vs and VIIs during the end of Endwalker. IXs less so because of Island Sanctuary, but I’m sure there were periods there after everyone already had their pentamelded Indagator gear where the price on those got cheap enough that it would have made sense to be buying them up in preparation for Dawntrail’s launch.
Oh well, something to plan for this time around!
