For me, it may be that the toilet paper roll needs to have the open end away from the wall. I don’t want to reach under the roll to take a piece! That’s ludicrous!

That or my recent addiction to correcting people when they use “less” when they should use “fewer”

      I’ve always wondered why so many people have this reaction, rather than seeing it as a cool thing that languages can do. Namely, taking bits from other languages and making them into something new.

        I am all for developing languages so that you get new words. And am I really dying on this hill. Hell no😊

        Its just a silly notion that you either choose a Greek root or a Latin root for a word. No mixing, just "wrong"😊

        It bugs me less than directly translating English expression into Norwegian (my native toung). Some of them just sounds weird
