In this context, this works in a totally different way where Dog Guy is the third member of the band who leaves the empty spot on stage. Or I guess it still works in the same context except Cat Lady is a two-piece, White Stripes-ian band. Either way, I’m high and enjoyed this Heathcliff comic without Heathcliff.
Like Les Claypool they realized that they just weren’t a good fit for Metallica. I’m not even sure how Dog Man ended up in Cat Lady anyway. So he left in the middle of a performance. Which is not a good move but something to totally expect from Dog Man.
