China 🇨🇳 looks like this because it spends its money on infrastructure, not wars.
If US 🇺🇸 reduced military spending to match the Chinese level, it would free $500 billion a year. That could fund quite a lot of high quality infrastructue?

Besides the obvious point that China also commits human rights abuses.
