I want to see evidence of aliens as much as the next person, but if you think the government is competent enough to keep a secret like that I’ve got some bad news…

They didn’t keep the secret, like at all. There have been sightings everywhere, documents leaked, official reports and backtracking since Roswell. The trouble is that they managed to convince everyone that people who believe in aliens are crackpots, and they only exist in movies and TV. Now even when people see them they don’t say anything because all of their friends look at them differently.

I agree with you all the way but there’s been probably 100’s of leaks. this still being secret is kind of our own doing. Like weve heard the stories for 50 + years, people just didn’t believe them. not that I blame them up until recently I had my doubts, it is absolutely the most far fetched out there truth we have ever heard!!

Compartmentalization is definitely an effective tool to keeping programs secret, especially Special Access Programs. Plus it’s been decades of this information coming out and the US government covering it up.

Compartmentalizing only gets you so far. Programs can’t be run exclusively by Generals, you need Jack Texeras to do the menial work.

How many Jacks have come forward to tell their stories of working on UFOs? All of them accepting the risk of being persecuted by the government and ridiculed by society?

Someone should tell them to stop ruining the world for the rest of us

To be fair, the truth may be horrifying. Some of the things I’ve seen thrown out there could really cause worldwide depression and apathy if confirmed. Still, I think I’d rather know the truth than wonder my whole life. Truths can be painful, but they are the path to progress.

What kind of things would you feel like you need to see that may indicate the world is actually just random?

Not sure what you mean. The world being “random” isn’t what concerns me. The universe is clearly a pretty chaotic place with no regard for our comfort. But the universe isn’t likely malicious. Aliens can be, and that is what I am referring to.
