Brothers and sisters, this article is a reflection of the broader struggle against the forces that are trying to divide and weaken the power of the working class.

The Amazon Labor Union’s internal conflicts are not just personal squabbles, they’re symptoms of a system designed to pit workers against each other, to sow discord and mistrust among those who should be united in the fight against exploitation.

But let’s not lose sight of the true enemy: the capitalist machine that profits from our disunity.

The efforts of comrades like Nieves, who continue to organize and stand firm despite the obstacles, are a testament to the resilience of our movement. We must learn from these challenges, strengthen our bonds, and build a union that is not just democratic in name, but in practice—a union that truly represents the will and power of the workers.

The struggle is hard, but the cause is just, and together, we will prevail.

Serious question: why are people downvoting this message?

Some people on Lemmy are so bothered by the fact that I’m a proud socialist that they follow me around, downvoting everything I post, regardless of what it is.

They even call me a Russian asset and a Trump supporter (seriously, wtf?!). Feel free to look at my comment history if you get bored enough–you’ll see the hate I get. All because I’m a socialist.

What really gets to them is that I challenge the status quo, fight for real change, and stand with workers instead of capitalists.
