    Less of a showoff and more because it’s not easy to control what a lower dimesional slice will look like, the apple through the 2d plane for example.

    In their own dimension they probably look normal but peeking into ours fractures their dimensional shadow like a kaleidoscope.

    That’s why elder gods break people’s brains, and they’re only described in abstractions. We’re looking on the 3 dimensional shadow of higher dimensional beings

      The thing is, if the higher dimensions worked the same as the lower ones except for the fact we can’t see them, you could theoretically bounce off of the 3 dimensional shadow to travel through the other dimensions, like in 4d golf
