Yeah, I think we’re probably at a point where we need to try whatever we can, whatever hail mary pass initiatives we can think of, since the potential reward is our continued survival. We should also be doing other common sense things like trying to reduce emissions as much as possible, but I guess the economy comes first, so fuck that.
We can fund reasonable stuff while not funding nonsense. Things where it is clear from the beginning that it is not going to work, even if they were to reach all set goals.
On a side note, why should not be a billionaire behind the nonsensical project?
If every single climate initiative failed, even the dumbest plan would still a better use of the money than giving tax cuts to billionaires.
