You could post about the time WotC tried to revoke their OGL, or when Hans Niemann allegedly used an anal vibrator to cheat at chess, or things like that.

You would be 100% correct. It was for long-form high quality writeups of drama in a hobby, not looking at drama specifically on Reddit.
