In fact I was under the impression that in every country except 6 the majority or entirety of legislators are male. In fact I was fully under the impression that in the vast majority of the world men are disproportionately represented in government. Thanks for enlightening me

My point is that even though most can vote, the actual decision makers and power brokers are overwhelmingly “high status males”.
