I liked it a lot. I have some criticisms but I thought the novel was great. I listened to the audiobook because my brain is broken, and Jefferson Mayes did a phenomenal job.
The world building and the foreshadowing to more universe-spanning conflicts and civilizations was very compelling. The parallels to some of the non fiction I have read about concentration camps are interesting as well, not to say the horrors of reality are related to what they wrote in novel.
