I feel like this is over hyped primarily because we saw Bidens downfall live on tv. That’s a rare kind of event. Also, the electorate is largely talking past one another when it comes to what they are looking for in a candidate, so it’s not clear what this offers to either candidate other than maybe a chance for them to get their opponent to make a mistake on live television (we beat Medicare).

In all likelihood, it’s a nothing burger of an event, but mainstream news loves a horse race. However I’d it isn’t a nothing burger, it might be the end of the road for one of the two candidates.
