    Am genuinely curious, because saying “it’s true” isn’t a source, nor has anyone given a source other than downvotes to OP. If sources cannot be backed up, they’re not true, especially on Lemmy.

      Author of that article produced a PC for about $867 iirc that rivaled the pro.

      The pro doesn’t include a stand $30 or a disk drive $60. A drive for the PC is under $20. This is all USD.

      If you want to play online that’s another $120 per year for PlayStation.

      When you start adding up all the little expenses and then factor in that a PC can do 100 things a console can’t, it’s going to be a better investment in the short and long run to get a PC over a PS5 Pro
