And I was referring to your part where you were referring to Israel’s direct neighbors.

As it stands a war between them right now would be very different than 1948. If Israel cannot militarily defeat a group operating in prison and has had a group of ragtag rebels in Yemen blockade the country (despite them having no navy) I think that Egypt and Jordan of the 2020s can really give the IDF a serious run for its money. Especially if the US grows a pair and stands up to Israel and stops supplying weapons.

But sadly if that happens Israel will go down in history as the only other country to use nuclear weapons in anger… and on itself to prevent the country from being defeated, as per their Samson and Hannibal doctrines.

Hamas is not a neighbor! Like Holy shit dude! Are you one of those guys who legit thinks that Gaza is a fully independent country and that Hamas is an internationally recognized sovereign entity?

        • Hamas is the de-facto leader of Gaza.

Taiwan isn’t a “internationally recognized sovereign entity” either. Does that mean it doesn’t exist? Does that mean it doesn’t have a sovereign government and rule the Island of Taiwan?

ISIS isn’t an “internationally recognized sovereign entity”. Does that mean it isn’t at war with Iraq and Syria? Does that mean it doesn’t/didn’t have a border/frontline with Iraq/Syria?

yes, Hamas is in control of Gaza and is a Neighbour of Israel.

Hamas is in charge because Israel disposed of all of its political opponents for it that left the Palestinian people with not much choice. Most of them only voted for them during heightened times of tension and many would later regret their vote. Many people say that Hamas was created by Israel. This is not entirely true, but its growth was nurtured both directly and indirectly by Israel. Even Netanyahu himself admitted of this years ago.

And ISIS is abo-fucking-lutely a highly illegitimate organization. Giving it the slightest milligram of recognition would be the worst thing to do. At any rate ISIS has ceased to exist as political entity (and they only existed as such for a VERY brief period of time) and right now they are just a bunch of disjointed idiots who will occasionally succeed at murdering some people and not achieve anything else at all.

            • None of what you just wrote has anything to do with what we just talked about.

Are you doing this on purpose to annoy me? Because it’s working.

              1. so you agree that Hamas is in Gaza and even in control of Gaza, Therefore a Neighbour of Israel?

              2. HOW did you get the Idea that I wanted to recognize ISIS? Stop putting words in my mouth please! My point was: just because their government is illegitimate doesn’t make the war and front lines less real. It doesn’t make ISIS less real. It doesn’t make its casualties less real.

Anyways, since you apparently can’t/don’t want to keep a discussion for more than two comments without changing the topic, I won’t continue this here.

I hope I was able to give you an idea of what I meant and wish you a nice day.
