Waaait a darn minute! You’re not the Eugenia Loli, are you, OP? Because I’ve loved the collage work for years, and that, well, that would be just wonderful. Regardless, this is such a fantastic piece. I highly recommend anyone look up other official works, too!
Wow!! That is so cool! How awesome to see you on here. ❤️
I think it was my sister who shared your work with me, who’s own early pieces in the 90s involved combining cut LIFE magazines, painting, and various mixed techniques, so it might’ve lended to my fondness for the elements you use.
Through the years, I’ve come across “similar” artists, I’m sure you’ve seen plenty, but there’s absolutely no mistaking a Eugenia Loli–period. You combine your obvious skill and thoughtfulness in each piece, and invoke a downright transportive surrealism, which feels entirely specific to your style. Whether such specifity was intentional, or my own perception, I enjoy the heck out of it. I’d love to know if you have a favorite of your collages, or one that means just a bit more than others.
PS. If you’d be willing to share, what are you working on now?

Thank you, much appreciated! :) These days I do illustration: https://pixelfed.social/i/web/profile/495699973550816234 Not the same as collage at all, I needed some grounding after all that surrealness. :D
