Multiple LinkedIn users on Wednesday noticed a setting that showed LinkedIn was using user data to improve its generative AI. LinkedIn told 404 Media it will update its terms of service “shortly.”

unfortunately unlike facebook and its ilk this will effect your ability to get a job. I can’t really drop my linkedin or populate it with bullshit. even after I retire younger folks I work with will need to be able to get in touch for references and such.
