If you were conscious but stabbed, a police officer would absolutely spend a few minutes writing a report while waiting for paramedics. Driving while intoxicated, they might still fine you for that. If you were brown and drunk, they’d probably arrest you. If you were brown, drunk, and the knife was within arms reach, you’d be tased and arrested for assaulting the officer. The point I’m trying to make: being stabbed does not stop a police officer from doing their favorite job in the world — beating innocent people.
