    That’s the one.

I would like to upvote your response to express my appreciation for your help, but so far as I can tell my client makes it quite difficult to interact with posts that are only pictures.

Heh no worries. I use sync, just do a quick swipe for up votes. Can also tap to the side of the image to select the comment and interact from there.

I’m using Connect, which does support swiping as you describe, but I hated it and disabled it immediately because I kept accidentally upvoting, downvoting, hiding or saving. Sometimes I knew something had been done because my phone vibrated, but I couldn’t identify what that something was.

I like Connect a lot because it’s the closest to RiF, my only Reddit interface for years back when I used Reddit. Like RiF, Connect wants you to tap the post before you have the option to interact with or respond to it. However, a recent update made it so that you had to touch a visible part of the post (ie, tap on text - whitespace or to either side of the comment don’t work). If the post is only a picture, then tapping the picture opens an improved version of it and tapping on the meta information (like the username) takes you to the user’s profile page. It’s one of the few things I don’t like about the app, but there’s probably a setting I’m missing somewhere.

Honestly, I’m not sure how I managed to respond to your original post. I guess I just got lucky and tapped somewhere Connect liked.

        Thanks again for engaging!

edit: Turns out that not all of the meta info is unusable. If I tap the vote count or time since the post was made, I get the interaction buttons. This must be how I originally responded to you and I have now used this approach to upvote your post.
