    My in-laws are bitching about “how bad” the weather will be after it makes it’s way to Ohio.

    I understand losing power for a few hours is irritating, but have some fucking perspective. You can go see actual devastation with a single tank of gas.

      Also, Milton is projected to cross from the Gulf straight across Florida into the Atlantic.

      I’m no meteorologist, but I’m pretty sure Ohio’s weather isn’t going to be significantly impacted this time.

        I doubt they have at any point bothered to look at a weather report though.

          Bicycle. If you can’t join a bicycle share program or spend a few $100 on a bicycle, walk.

            Columbus to Charlotte would be a 690km ride, and that is nowhere close to Florida. The US is huge. Biking and ebiking is great for cities, but the US is huge and needs high-speed trains for interstate travel between city pairs.

              Ive biked that distance, but if you don’t have the time, don’t go. And, yes, vote for green party who will actually build trains
