at this point, why not setup your own instance + communities so you can do whatever you please?

Yeah many instances don’t take kindly to admins using their abilities to circumvent bans, which he would almost certainly do if he were an admin.

What would be the point of that? I’m not interested of going on a banhammer powertrip or create an echo-chamber. I can freely post on .ml since it’s not ran by Zionists.

Aside from a few Tankie.World communities there would be no point to making my own instance.

I am suggesting it so you aren’t the one having your posts removed. You would be in control of the content you allow rather than beholden to others

I’m not interested in controlling posts. I am interested in turning people against the Genocidal apartheid regime of israel.

Creating an echo chamber would be defeat that point as nobody who doesn’t already dislike israel would post there.

You don’t have to create an echo chamber though. Thats the benefit of having your own instance and community.

It would still require calling out the heavy censorship of other instances such as Lemmy.World as users would not move without that. Especially with the massive amount of gaslighting Lemmy.World users do on a daily basis trying to smear other instances.

How has “calling other instances out” going for you so far?

Great. You should have seen Lemmy.World a year ago. A lot of “nuance” going on back then.
