Imagine believing that not voting has a winning condition.

You either participate, and vote for the less-bad option, pushing it less-bad until the point it starts progressing.

Or you don’t vote, and let others decide for you.

There’s no winning outcome in the “no-vote” option. There’s no winning outcome in the “3rd party vote” option either.

Republicans understand this, which is why they’ve been able to push progress so far backwards over the last decade.

So you’re fine with the way Republicans are pushing it, or you help push it the other way. Because the other options don’t shove that needle any other direction. (By the way, this goes the opposite for conservatives too. If you want the needle moving more right, not-voting and 3rd party voting, only serves against your interests)

Out of the 4 options - Dem, Repub, No-vote, 3rd Party Vote – only 2 of those options move the needle. Republicans are moving the needle right with their votes. Abstaining or not voting ensures that needle keeps moving right. If that’s what you want - so be it. Just understand that it’s not in your interests to not-vote.

You can still be against genocide in Gaza. But by not voting, you’re also saying that Racism here at home is okay. That women having their rights taken away here at home is okay. That denying people access to medical care is okay. That Transphobia is okay. That Xenophobia is okay. That school shootings are okay. All of the other things that are also bad about the Republican party, are A-OKAY with you.

Vote for either party is a vote for the regime.

Voting third party is to deny two party clown system legitimacy.
