This is from the last election in 2020. How fun that it’s still relevant!

To ensure that their lesser of two evils, from your point of view, is more likely to win (assuming you are in a state where they stand a chance). You are right to be frustrated with the system, but you can still have some say. Both parties/candidates are far from the same. The outcome of this election will affect you one way or another.

I’m sorry the mods saw fit to remove your comments. While you may have used some unnecessarily insulting words, I don’t think the insults were way beyond civility. Nor do I think that your comments were without merit to your viewpoint, even though I think that viewpoint terribly cynical and misguided. I welcome more civil discussions in the future.

They admitted to being a shitposter. PoliticalMemes is not a shitpost community. That is why they got banned, and constantly accusing an entire political party of being “regime whores” is in bad faith and violates the rules, which is why they got their comments removed.

I welcome any and all civil discussion and debate. A line has to be drawn though. Civil discussion will always be tolerated.

I am pretty sure mods running news and politics subs don’t like having discussion here either.

People can check mod log and make their own conclusions.

Either way, censorship speaks for itself. This discussion can’t be had on lemmy.world

Good thing this is fediverse but mod behavior here is reddit textbook.

Apparently term “regime whore” really does not resonate with the political shills… i wonder why?
