They rely on herd immunity to prevent these diseases from spreading effectively in the population in general. Herd immunity levels vary by the disease, but generally it needs to be around 90%+ so those that can’t receive the immunizations can still be effectively protected.
The current anti-vax bullshit brings those rates down into the 80% range or even lower in many areas already. It only gets worse as it spreads more.
