A trove of new records released in the federal election-interference case against former President Donald Trump described how money was spent on Trump’s “Stop the Steal” rally near the White House on Jan. 6, 2021.

The newly released documents also show that an unnamed organization budgeted as much as $3 million on the Jan. 6 rally and related events, including for bringing VIP guests and protesters to Washington and ad buys for a show of force.

So… which Trump buddy is the odds-on favorite for running that organization? Steve Bannon? Roger Stone? Peter Theil?

Roger Stone. It’s why Trump pardoned him shortly before but more importantly, Stone was the one who organized the “stop the steal” back in 2000 when Gore’s victory was stolen from him. There a documentary on it.

I think this is the one. It’s good but beware, you’ll probably get pretty irritated.

Sorry, I didn’t explain myself well. I know about Stone and the Stop the Steal part. I think I even saw that documentary way back when it came out. I mean it would make a lot of sense because of that.

Supposedly Roger Stone was asking Trump to run for a long time.
