The great Kurosawa films were all remade in a different genre in the West. Yojimbo and Sanjuro became A Fist Full of Dollars and For a Few Dollars More. Hidden Fortress became Star Wars. Seven Samurai became The Magnificent Seven and Bug’s Life Rashomon became The Outrage.
