    What’s trumps excuse? What’s your excuse? What’s God’s excuse?

I’m tired of all this. I take full responsibility. If I had done more this tragedy could have been averted. I’m sorry to those who have suffered because of my inadequacy. Render what ever judgment you will on me and in the future, if there is one for scum like me, I will try to do better.

      What’s trumps excuse?

who cares? he never had a chance at my vote to begin with for a large number of reasons. we can just add it to the pile of shitty things trump is okay doing. but we already knew he was willing to commit genocide. this is a surprise to no one who as paid attention.

      What’s God’s excuse?

dunno if i could find him i’d ask him.

      What’s your excuse?

for what? not supporting harris? I’ve been very clear on this: genocide.

      I’m tired of all this.

so am I friend, so am I. I’m not the one running around trying to convince people to vote for a particular candidate by shaming others using intellectually dishonest claims of ‘helping trump’, ‘both parties were going genocide, pick the lesser evil’, etc.

I want people to get off their ass and vote. I didnt vote for harris or trump, I voted down ballot. I’m also not in a swing state or a state with shitty womens rights. harris is going to win my state regardless. That being said the liberals running around spouting nonsense about helping trump when its clearly and demonstrably not true is going to lead to people not voting at all.

And that my friend is why I call this shit out. because they might have voted down ticket regardless which can only help the situation. and quite frankly im happy to treat people with the same level of vitriol that they treat others. Now I will continue campaigning against genocide and getting ranked choice done, please volunteer so people can stop being asses to each other.

It kind of matters. Just a little, don’t you think. Don’t you think the openly fascist candidate matters, sorta, kinda, just a little bit? You know your vote alone doesn’t decide the outcome of the election, right?

for what? not supporting harris? I’ve been very clear on this: genocide.

Let me figure this one out. Your non support for Harris has discluded you from responsibility for the death of a child in a foreign nation? How about this, I don’t support Harris either. I’ll still vote for her.

do you have a point? what do you think I actually care about? its clearly not trump. yes person w/ the most votes wins.

let me ask you this, which is sadder: the fascist candidate or the one who can’t beat the fascist candidate because shes entirely unappealing to americans?

What do you want out of this conversation? I want you to call your reps and tell them genocide isnt okay. maybe get you to donate your time to getting RCV passed in your state. Ideally anything that gets people to stop bitching about 3rd party voters who most likely are going to vote down ballot for democrats. which if trump wins controlling the senate/house will be critical.

How does who you vote for in the presidential election promote RCV? How does it reduce genocide? The action you promote advances neither goal. I will grant that if you’re in a secure state, your vote will have little chance to affect the presidential election, but it also won’t serve as a wakeup call to the winners of the election that FPTP needs to go.

You seem very confused. My point is people are pissy about the election because they’re absolutely petrified of trump and are acting like 3rd party votes have any impact one way or another on who wins (they dont).

RCV is related because it removes the spoiler effect making these entire conversations disappear. Which i can only count as a good thing because the conversation is stupid and most people are not capable of having a comprehensive understanding of how our election structure interacts with fptp. They see cgp’s video and think they have an understanding but completely ignore the interplay between congress, the president, the electoral college, down ballot effects.

I’d say you’re the confused one. None of what I said contradicts anything in your response, and nothing in your response addresses any of the questions I asked. I can only assume that’s because the answer is obvious and you don’t want to acknowledge it.

How does who you vote for in the presidential election promote RCV?

I directly answered this. it doesn’t but its related to the conversation because of how it will the environment.

              How does it reduce genocide?

it doesn’t. but it would get idiots to shut up about non-existent spoilers. and indirectly might let them actually vote with their conscience on genocide instead of their fear of trump.
