They aren’t holding the same policies. Not one Republican has said anything like “If Harris changes her position on X I’ll support her.” Instead they have said things along the lines of “Donald Trump is a danger to our country. I’ll vote with my enemies before I vote for this guy who has literally said the Constitution should be suspended.”
